Theolgy in a Tire Warehouse

SO TIRED TONIGHT… spent the entire afternoon failing to find a car for our family (things are so much more expensive here… and more complicated since we’re foreigners), then went to a Bible study some of the apprentice guys are doing with some Zimbabwean refugees living in an old tire warehouse.  I don’t know how to express what I saw there in a short sound bite… but it was horrible and beautiful at the same time.  Horrible because some of these guys are far more intelligent and educated than I am (some were working on their PhDs before everything went down).  Beautiful because their insane love for and trust in Jesus.  I’m not sure if or when I will go back to the tire warehouse for several reasons I think, but it was an important part of understanding the heart of South Africa.  thanks for journeying with us into this.
