Meet Victoria

I don’t have explanations or boxes for what we’re seeing swirling around Clydesdale. You can’t predict or plan for things. We just pray that God would allow us to play in his kingdom, cross the street, push the kids on the swings and meet neighbors. It’s really just life. But when you ask God to let you play in his kingdom, He takes it seriously.

Tonight, one of our next door neighbors (we’re surrounded by communes/multi-person housing) called Natalie and asked if she and I would pray over her. She and her husband have been trying to conceive a child for 5 years now. We’ve had a lot of friends go through this, so it was immediately a deep sense of connection with her. So we prayed, we cried, we hugged her and welcomed her back any time.

This used to be weird to me. I mean, this was the first time I met her. I asked Nat how it happened, and they just met at the park. Victoria sensed a spirit about our family and wanted to lean in on it.

God’s just been pitching up like this… I don’t schedule it… I don’t have any boxes for why He’s choose to work like this. But I felt like we needed to kick this out to our readership. Thank you for praying over our neighborhood. And now when you think of it, continue to lift up Victoria! More names and stories coming…
